Ingredients

Main

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • ~6/8 thin bacon strips
  • 1 egg

  • oregano
  • baking paper

Method

Preparations

  • unroll the sheet of pastry and cut in half, lengthwise
  • beat the egg
  • preheat the oven to 200°C
  • line a baking sheet with baking paper

Cooking

  1. Place the bacon strips on on the halves of pastry, and place the other half on top.

  2. Slice into strips of ~1cm wide and twist 2 or 3 times before transfering to the sheet.

  3. Brush the twists with the beaten egg and sprinkle oregano on top.

  4. Bake in the oven for ~15m, and let cool for a few minutes.

Serving

Don't worry about temperature when serving, even colder are great.
